What started as a modest, to bedroom single-story home was expertly renovated into a four-bedroom home with pitched roof, featuring a spacious mezzanine.  While creating a fresh and modern look, the home still maintained a cozy, homely feel.  Black steel arched doors clad in red klompie bricks greet guests as they enter stylishly designed open plan kitchen and living area, while functional spaces such as a scullery, pantry and office were added to maximise the functional areas.  To keep some of the original history of the home, the original cottage pane doors were kept and transformed by adding modern arched glass panes above.  Meticulous attention to detail in the outdoor space saw the views open up to the Constantiaberg mountains, while creating additional spaces for entertainment, such a deck over the pool, and an outdoor braai area.
